Bajan Athlete creates history by winning a gold in the 110m hurdles ! |

| In addition to another spellbinding, record breaking performance from Usain Bolt in the 200m finals at the World Championships last night RYAN BRAITHWAITE of Barbados created history by picking up the first ever GOLD medal for a Bajan athlete at the World Championships.
It took a couple of minutes after the race for him to be confirmed as the winner due to a very very close photo finish but afterwards he said that he was happy to emerge the winner and said that it was a great night not only for him but for his family and the people of Barbados.
