West Indian Cricket Talent in India!
2010-03-22  21:44:32
The West Indies have finally won an ODI series for the first time out of nine attempts. Their last memorable ODI series win was in 2007 against England. The boys beat Zimbabwe 4-1 winning their last match they chased 142 runs with 3 wickets in hand. It is a couple weeks on and some of our boys have flown out to India to take part in the IPL. Chris Gayle is playing for the Kolkata Knight Riders, Adrian Barath with Kings XI Punjab, coincidentally in blue and yellow both Dwayne Smith and Kemar Roach are playing for Deccan Chargers, Keiron Pollard and Dwayne Bravo are heating things up for the Mumbai Indians. Carry on supporting our boys even though they are not in Maroon, you can watch the games on ITV2. Today there was an interesting clash between Gayle batting and Bravo bowling. Bravo seemed determined to get him out. Although Gayle unleashed power through his bat scoring 75 and getting out on the very last ball of their innings, in the end the Mumbai Indians were the better team and won by 7 wickets. Sachin Tendulkar took it home, scoring 71 runs his highest score in Twenty20 cricket. If you are a cricket lover then the IPL tournament is for you, there will be matches from now until the 25th April. The IPL put on a total of 60 explosive matches, over 12 venues in India with the best cricketers from the best teams in the World. So show your support!
